silver and gold

Quite often, my eye is attracted to the simple leaf and petal forms I collect on walks wherever I am. Mostly my work is colorful. However, when I work with plain silver or gold, it seems to accentuate the heart of the matter. It is not my intention to replicate plant forms in a botanically correct fashion, but I try to capture the essence of the things I discover.

Working with sterling silver and a higher karat gold, I often like to texture the surface of the metal to make it come alive and show it’s true nature.
