We make your pieces to order here in the studio, and send them as soon as they’re finished- sometimes that’s the next day, during busy periods it takes a little more time- but we’ll make sure it leaves the studio within five days. Larger pieces or special commissions can take longer. If you’re in a rush, don’t see what you’re looking for, or have any questions at all- send us a note ! We’ll do our best to meet any requests or deadlines.
If you are ordering a product made to size please provide the details on the checkout page. Rings are made to measure in metric sizes and chain measurements can be in inches or cm. If in doubt, please contact us. All jewelry pieces are shipped in a gift box, and if you’d like us to do anything like enclose a special note, keep pricing information out of the package, or do anything else to make the package arrive as you’d like, just send us a note .

Ordering a customised piece with adjustments

All of the pieces that you see in our online collection can be customised for your needs. Found a ring, but you’d rather it in gold? Would you prefer to change the color of the earrings, or have the silver oxidized? All adjustments are definitely possible. Just send us an email and we’ll provide with a quote, if there are any changes to the prize. Please note once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. As your piece is being hand made to suit your specific requirements, we ask you to understand that the finished product cannot be returned or exchanged.


Parcels shipped within the Netherlands usually arrive the next day with PostNL. Parcels being shipped to an international address will be delivered within 3 to 10 business days depending on the location. If you need your parcel delivered more quickly, please email or call us on +316 4457 2431 and we’ll do our best to get it you soon as possible.

All international purchases may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. To determine exactly what these charges may be, it may be necessary to call your local customs office to gain further details.

Cancelation & Returns

Jewellery is a very special purchase. We hope you will love your Kviksølv purchase for a very long time. If you feel like that is not going to happen for whatever reason we are happy to make a refund or exchange possible. Pieces purchased on this website can be returned within 21 days of purchase with the original receipt. Please send us a note when you want to do this, and I’ll provide you with the return adress. Please don’t use the studio adress for this service.  Return or exchange is not possible when the item is custom made or personalised. Postage will be refunded only if the item is faulty or if any error is made on our part of the order. Orders must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition. Items are returned at the buyer’s own risk. It is recommend that you use a special delivery service to ensure it against loss or damage. If you want to cancel or change your order, please email us as soon as possible. A lot of items are made to order!

How do I measure my ring size?

There are several different ring-sizing systems worldwide. Kviksølv works with the metric system.

The best way for measuring your ring size is going to a jeweller for a professional true fitting. It is also possible to measure a ring that fits you comfortably on the intended finger. (Please note that the right and left hand can be different)

If these options are not possible for you please email us and we will send a ring-sizing gauge (and detailed instructions) to you.

If the ring is a gift and it is impossible to provide with a size, we can send a ring that is in stock and make one to size later. This does mean that extra shipping costs are applicable.
